Attractions in great variety
LIKE most of the features which visitors to this corner of Kent enjoy, 'attractions' are
distinctive and 'different'. Popular, cultural, historic, scenic, traditionally seasidey,
rural, indoor and outdoor, they come in shapes, styles, sizes and great variety to please
all ages, tastes and interests. (Except, probably, those in search of white-knuckle
rides and other tummy-churning, eye-popping thrills. Sorry, folks, but
giant amusement parks are scarce in these parts).
Our two big (in every sense) attractions are unique and far-and-wide famous -
the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and Port Lympne Wild Animal
Park. There are scores of others among the must-visit places mentioned on other
pages.
