- BY CAR
If you live near a motorway, head for the M20, turn off at any junction between 10 and 13 and follow the signs; or if travelling via the M2, turn off at junction 7 for Canterbury, then via the B2068 to join the M20 (to Folkestone) or A20 (exiting at Newingreen for A261 for Hythe). From starting points in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and the West, check your map for choice of A roads as well as slower routes through the countryside or click here to use the route planner .
- BY EXPRESS COACH
National Express operates services via London to Folkestone and Hythe town centres, from where there are bus connections to nearby town and villages.
- BY BUS
Stagecoach operates a network of routes serving Folkestone, Hythe and towns and villages in the Romney Marsh and other rural areas.

BY TRAIN
Travel from London St Pancras to Folkestone West and Folkestone Central in less than an hour by Southeastern high-speed trains. Trains from Charing Cross and Cannon Street take longer and stop at Westenhanger and Sandling. (These two stations are convenient if you are being picked up by car to go to Hythe or the Romney Marsh area.
